Stanford University’s Precourt Institute for Energy, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) will celebrate the fourth anniversary of DOE’s Microelectronics Energy Efficiency Scaling for Two Decades (EES2) Initiative. The event also marks:
- Reaching more than 100 EES2 Pledgers (with Stanford as the #100 signer)
- The launch of the EES2 Alliance with Stanford, SLAC and others as initial allies
- The public release of the EES2 R&D Roadmap on Computing Energy Efficiency
The event will highlight the Initiative’s progress through new partnerships and other recent developments across the EES2 network. The program will feature keynote remarks from:
- Senior officials from the US Federal Agencies including Department of Energy
- Leaders from the microelectronics industry
- Other initial EES2 allies
The agenda will include dynamic panel discussions with senior technologists from the EES2 Community on driving use cases for microelectronics energy efficiency such as full stack co-design technology options and more sustainable data centers.
