Sapna Gheewala-Dowla — Bio
Sapna Gheewala-Dowla is Associate Vice President of Policy & Research at the Alliance to Save Energy, where she leads the organization’s domestic and international energy efficiency policy and research portfolio. She directs ASE’s engagement with Congress, federal agencies, state policymakers, and industry stakeholders to advance bipartisan, fuel-neutral energy efficiency solutions that strengthen affordability, reliability, competitiveness, and energy security. She also leads ASE’s congressional engagement and Hill strategy, state policy initiatives, and growing international engagement, including partnerships and initiatives that elevate U.S. energy efficiency leadership globally.

The Alliance to Save Energy is a nonprofit, bipartisan, fuel-neutral coalition of business, government, environmental, and consumer leaders working to advance energy efficiency across the U.S. economy. Since 1977, the Alliance has championed efficiency as a foundational energy resource that lowers costs, strengthens grid reliability and energy security, drives economic competitiveness, and reduces energy demand. Through policy advocacy, research, education, and collaboration with public- and private-sector leaders, ASE works at the federal, state, and international levels to accelerate energy efficiency solutions.
